Anamur was founded by the HITITES in 1250 B:C.
In Roman times the town was the main base. It become a famous centre for
recreation, commerce and good accommodation. It was ruled by the
Byzantines, at which time it was rebuild. After 1228 the town come under Ottoman Empire by
Selim II.
Anamur is a town which situated an the most southern of anatolia, on the mediterranean cost. It has typical mediterranean climate with sunny summer and mild winters. Swimming season is April - November. Avrage day time tenperaturein summer is 28 C.

It is the roman periotd castle that is stuated on the hill which is over looking natural beatuies of the BOZYAZI see coast. This antigue ruins 800 mts away from the Vivanco Hotel.
It is stuated on the hill near the pirate bay and 500 mts away from our
hotel. It can be seen arched structures, domed graves, building and Chruch remains from
Byzabtine time.
